Le Morks - MTLg player highlight

Le Morks avec le Fedora.

Alias: Le Morks
Nom: Marc-Alain Bouchard

On y jouait Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Q & A:

Le Morks: Vanille, all the way.

Montreal Gaming: Super, merci beaucoup!

Le Morks: Merci à toi!

Alias: Le Morks
Name: Marc-Alain Bouchard
Age: 22 years old.

Hometown: Repentigny, Quebec

Favorite Game: Super Smash Bros. Project M : Snake / Diddy Kong

Brief history: Morks started playing video games at 5 years old with his father. He would play Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo. His competitive drive was developed in an animation club where Super Smash Bros. Brawl was being played at the CEGEP of Joliette. From that point on, Morks’ thirst for competition grew; he attended Otakuthon in 2009 for a Super Smash Bros. tournament where he caught the attention of other Smash players and was then invited to the Montreal Smash Fest to practice.

Q&A:
Montreal Gaming: Great. Could you tell us how you got involved with Boreal eSports and landed a sponsor?

Le Morks: Well, I got involved in running some Super Smash Bros. Tournaments for Project M and that is when I became aware of all the tournaments in the United States. I figured if there was one team that would want to encourage us it would be Boreal. I took the first steps and got in contact with them and that’s really how it started, this was something we both had an interest in.

Montreal Gaming: That is really cool. What do you think of the future of the Smash scene?

Le Morks: It’s just getting bigger, it’s ridiculous, I can’t get my head around it. When I started with Super Smash Bros. Brawl the scene was kind of “dieing“. Then it kind of turned into the Project M scene and the amount of people never seems to end.

Now you have Smash 4, the one on 3DS. I think its really cool. It’s a lot closer to Brawl then it is to Melee. I find it super interesting, it’s a lot like chess where you have to get into the other guys head to be able to beat him.

Nintendo and the community have generally become more interested in supporting Smash, especially since Super Smash Bros. Melee came back to Evo. Now everybody is freaking out, we had a chance to re-see it, now everyone is saying “After all that was a good game.”.

Montreal Gaming: That’s perfect. It’s going to be huge.
If you want, we would like to finish the interviews with something fun. I’m going to ask you “This or That” and you simply have to answer.

Le Morks: Okay, yeah.

Montreal Gaming: Alright then. Do you prefer boxers or briefs?

Le Morks: Haha, I prefer boxers. Hahaha, all of this better not be turned around on me.

Montreal Gaming: Hah, Right? Are you a guy who takes showers in the morning or at night?

Le Morks: Generally in the morning.

Montreal Gaming: One last question. Ice cream: Do you prefer Chocolate or Vanilla?

Le Morks: I’m sorry, chocolate is going over the side, vanilla all the way. There is also Banana, it only exists…

Montreal Gaming: You mean like a sorbet?

Le Morks: No, I mean you can only really find Banana Ice cream in a all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets. It’s the only place I was able to find some.

Montreal Gaming: That was all. Thank you very much.

Le Morks: Not a problem.
