Red Bull Proving Grounds – MTLSF Underground Hype – June 3rd

MTLSF UnderGround Hype, the final in a three part Spring circuit of Ranking Battles in the expanded Red Bull Proving Grounds series.

This will be a one day event run by the MTLSF Team. Currently there will also be a Side Tournament of GGXRD:Rev as well as BB:CF Run by the MTL Airdashers crew. MTLSF will also be running a side UMVC3 Tournament.

REGISTRATION

It will make the bracket making process run far smoother for staff. ***All payments, whether as a spectator or as a player are made in person at our Registration Desk on the day of the tournament.***

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

The tournament will use a graduated prize pool with distribution (percentage) as follows:

32 – 64 entrants: 70 / 20 / 10

64 – 96 entrants: 65 / 20 / 10 / 5

96 – 128 entrants: 55 / 20 / 10 / 5 / 2.5/2.5

128+ entrants: 45 / 20 / 15 / 7 / 5/5 / 1.5/1.5

FEES

Venue: $10 (if pre-registered) $20 (if not pre-registered)

Spectators: $10. Note that Spectators are not eligible to enter tournaments but are welcome to play in Casuals either before or after tournaments have concluded.

ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3 (PS4) Double elimination tournament 3 out of 5 games per match including Winners Finals & Losers Finals 3 out of 5 games Grand Finals

This is a Bring Your Own Controller event. Please be ready to play your matches with either a PS4 or PS3 Arcade Stick, or controller with accepted Adapter.

Side Tournaments will be changing regularly throughout the circuit based on active participants and new games coming into play. If demand is high for a specific game such as USF4, it will be considered and added as a side tournament.

NOTE: There is a minimum 16 player pre-registration floor for all Side Tournaments. If a Side Tournament does not reach its pre-registration minimum by the time it closes on Friday May 5th 11:59pm, the game will be struck from the played list on tournament date. It's up to you as players to encourage friends to come out and ensure your favourite Side Tournaments get played.
