Vous le savez déjà, nous avions un tournoi de prévu pour le 27 et 28 septembre. Le tournoi devait avoir un prize pool de 1000 $ et un Ro8 live au Némésis Game Lounge. Nous avons le malheur de vous annoncer que ce tournoi n’aura pas lieu. À la place, nous allons convertir le tournoi live en tournoi en ligne! Les VoDs seront conservés pour pouvoir les caster ultérieurement et les matchs de finale seront streamé live ainsi que commenté par Helpha et FirefoXz. Plusieurs changements sont à observer, changement illustré immédiatement avec cette petite (et pratique) liste :
- Prix : de 40 $ à 15 $ par joueur. Une aubaine et une opportunité pour créer cette équipe dont vous avez toujours rêvé!
- Format : Le tournoi sera maintenant un Bo3 double élimination, au lieu d’un single game, double élimination. Ça veut dire plus de parties!
- Prize pool : de 1000 $ à 400 $. Si nous avons les inscriptions pour 8 à 10 équipes, c’est à cela que les prix vont ressembler : 1iere place : 200 $, 2e place : 120 $ et 3e place : 80 $.
- Riot points et skin : Le skin de Triumphant ryze et les Riot points que vous pouviez gagner reste inchangés! L’occasion parfaite de se faire quelques points faciles!
- Date : Elle reste inchangée! Les dernières parties vont se dérouler le 27 et 28 septembre 2014.
- Ligue : À voir plus bas pour les détails! L’équipe gagnante va gagner un seed pour le Ro8 de notre tournoi de printemps!
La nouvelle étant donc sortie, nous vous invitons tous à former vos équipes et à vous inscrire pour le tournoi! La date d’inscription finale est le 24 septembre! Le temps passe vite donc prenez les maintenant!
Une deuxième grande nouvelle (qui explique un peu la première)! Il a été décidé qu’un tournoi initial aurait plus de chance d’être plaisant et profitable pour tous s’il se déroulait en ligne! De plus, grâce à la flexibilité accrue que ce format nous offre, nous avons décidé de créer une ligue de League of Legends!
En plus du premier prix, les gagnants de nos tournois en ligne de la saison hivernale gagneront une place dans le Ro8 du tournoi de fin de saison. Ce tournoi sera organisé sur le même format que l’ancien, donc un tournoi avec une finale live et un gros prize pool. Les détails sont encore à élaborer, mais dès qu’il y a confirmation, vous serez les premiers à le savoir! Bien entendu, avant la grande finale, nous allons organiser plus de tournois en ligne, pour que tout le monde puisse avoir leur chance d’obtenir la première place et le seed!

Hi everybody! Plenty of big news going off here for Montreal Gaming! So let’s jump right in!
First, you already all knew that we had a tournament scheduled for september 27-28. The event was supposed to have a prize pool of 1000$ and the Ro8 live at the Nemesis Game Lounge. Well, we’re sad to announce that that tournament won’t be happening. Instead, we’ll be converting it into an online tournment! The VODs shall be kept safe in order to cast them after the tournament and the finals will be streamed live and casted by Helpha and FireFoXz. Many changes will be seen, and they’re in a handy bulleted list!
- Price: From 40$ to 15$ per player. A deal and a great opportunity to create that team you always wanted to make!
- Format: The tournament will now be a Bo3 double elimination instead of single game, double elimination. That means more games!
- Prize pool: From 1000$ to 400$. With 8-10 teams, the split will look like this: 1st place: 200$, 2nd place: 120$, 3rd place: 80$.
- Riot points and skins: The Triumphant Ryze skin and the riot points are unchanged and still up for grabs! Talk about some easy points right there!
- Date: It stays unchanged! The finals will happen on september 27-28!
- League: Keep reading for details! The winning team will have a seed in the Ro8 of our spring tournament!
So the cat’s out of the bag and we’re inviting you all to assemble the teams and get your tickets for the back to school tournament! The final date to register is september 24th! Time’s fleeing! Get them fast!
The second big news is about the creation of our very own league! We thus decided that our first event would be simpler and more interesting if it was held online! Plus, with the additional flexibility, we actually created our first league prototype!
In addition to the prize, the online tournament winners during the winter season will gain a seed for the spring tournament. That way, no matter how many teams will register for that one, those winners will have direct access to the Ro8! The spring tournament is still in the works, but once we have something to show you guys, you’ll be the first to know! In the meantime, we expect more online tournament, so everyone can have their chance at the first prize and the seed.
