Nous sommes présentement le 4 Juin et la compagnie iWeb a décidé de tenir la deuxième édition du FunLAN cette fin de semaine! La question qui est sur vos lèvres bien entendu est la suivante: qu’est-ce que le FunLAN? C’est bien simple! Organisé par la compagnie iWeb, le FunLAN est un hybride LAN/WAN (Local Area Network/Wide Area Network), ce qui veut dire que les tournois se feront simultanément en LAN et sur internet, sur les serveurs de iWeb. LeFunLAN est surtout pour le plaisir, mais il y aura des prix pour les différents jeux:

Trackmania 2: Stadium: Pour ce jeu, il y a quatre places, ces places peuvent gagner des clés pour TM2 Valley, Canyon, des copies PC de Trial Fusion (par Ubisoft) et des packs de goodies!
Team Fortress 2: Le prix pour la première place est de 400$ en services iWeb de cloud ou de servers.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: Il y a deux instances de jeu à gagner pour faire des matches 5v5 avec 2 spectateurs. Le tout est protégé par un mot de passe, bien entendu.
Left 4 Dead 2: Les prix ne sont pas encore dévoilés à l’heure où j’écris ces lignes.
League of Legends: Il n’y a pas de prix présentement pour le tournoi de LoL et il n’y a pas d’équipes d’inscrites non plus (il n’est probablement pas trop tard pour s’inscrire…)
Minecraft: Il n’y a pas de compétition pour Minecraft, mais iWeb va quand même avoir un server dédié pour ceux qui voudraient essayer!

Le tout va se dérouler le 7 et le 8 Juin et tout le monde va pouvoir participer et gagner des prix! L’évènement sera streamé en ligne par nos amis chez Cyberactiv! Je vous recommande d’aller vous inscrire pour un tournoi ou un autre, ou au moins d’aller jeter un coup d’œil aux matches sur le stream, il va y avoir de l’Action! On se revoit en ligne!

We are currently the 4th of June and iWeb (a hosting company) is hosting the second edition of the FunLAN, but what’s the FunLAN, you ask? It’s actually a LAN/WAN (Local Area Network/Wide Area Network) hybrid where players will be competing for prizes in a for fun tournament. So far, 5 games have been announced with a tournament and 1 without. Here they are (with the prizes next to it):

Trackmania 2 Stadium: The prizes are for the first four positions, with prizes such as keys for Trackmania 2 Valley and Canyon, PC copies of Trial Fusion (by Ubisoft) and goodies packs!
Team Fortress 2: First (and only) prize shall be 400$ in iWeb products and services, cloud and dedicated servers.
Counter Strike GO: There are two game instances to win where people will be able to play 5v5 with 2 spectators. All of which password protected, of course.
Left 4 Dead 2: As of now, prizes aren’t unveiled.
League of Legends: As of now, there are no prizes nor teams presented, so if you wanna play for fun, go ahead and jump in!
Minecraft: There’s no tournament here, but iWeb will still be hosting a Minecraft server so get into that and show them your most beautiful creations!

All of this will happen this weekend, the 7th and 8th of June and everyone will be able to get in there and compete for prizes or for eternal glory! It’ll all be streamed by our good friends at Cyberactiv! I’d recommend to go ahead with your team and get into a tournament, it’s gonna be a lot of fun or, at the very least, get on the streams and watch the action unfold, there’s gonna be plenty of it!
